Join BizWorks as we kick of Fall Seminar schedule with a four part series entitled: Foreign Labor Certification Program - U.S. DOL, presented by Keith Hill, owner of Affordable Labor Certifications, LLC and Attorney Ricky Malik. This series is designed to teach business owners how to navigate the world of hiring foreign workers legally.

At the completion of this series the employer will know what the U.S. DOL requires to “sponsor” a foreign worker via “labor certification” and what USCIS formerly known as INS requires of the employer & foreign worker to secure an “employment-based” visa. The "labor certification" is the employer's & foreign worker’s “ticket” to USCIS.

For four consecutive Fridays on September 14th running through October 5th.   Each session will be held at BizWorks Enterprise Center.

Mornings 7:30 a. to 9:30 a.m. on the following days:

Friday, September 14th: U.S. DOL - Labor Certification Process - History to Present Day.

Friday, September 21: Identifying Occupations - Non-Professional vs. Professional Occupations & Placement of Recruitment Tools.

Friday, September 28: Gathering Supportive Documentation - Work History of Alien - Filling out & Submission of Application.

Friday, October 5: Responding to DOL inquiries i.e. Audits, Notice of Findings, Appeal Process & final the Final Determination (Approval) & Employers Responsibility to INS. Immigration - explained by Attorney Ricky Malik, ES
